Doc Tuttle, Pequannock Veterinarian - Funeral Arrangements

By Christopher Lotito

Doc Tuttle, a well known and well loved Pequannock veterinarian for over 30 years, passed away on the morning of Tuesday September 4th 2012.  The doctor was a dedicated Rotarian and a member of the Chamber of Commerce.

News of Tuttle's passing was met with much sorrow in the Pequannock community as citizens offered remembrances such as, "Your Dad was our vet, for a Beagle also. She always had ear problems and your Dad would get her fixed up every time," -- "I would go see doc tuttle all the time he was a great man sue i lived around corner stop an see him all the time with my beagles an never charged me for anything," and "Your father was our family vet for two dogs and a cat over a span of many years. As a kid, I remember him as a very nice and kind man. My mother could never say enough good things about him."

Tuttle had been living in Bedford, Virginia for the past 9 years.  He leaves behind his children, Pat, John, and Sue, as well as many, many, furred and feathered friends along with the peace of mind his years of service provided to their families in turn.
