Wizard of Menlo Park Releases a New Album

Deutsch: Edison Home Phonograph, Suitcase-ModellImage via WikipediaDespite minor setbacks, including decades of being deceased, Thomas Edison, New Jersey's own "Wizard of Menlo Park" has released a new album.  The National Park Service announced in February the release of wax cylinder recordings made in 1889 and 1890, but Edison's sound engineer Theo Wangemann during a recording tour throughout Europe.

The recordings are availble in MP3 format here:

This is yet another reminder of New Jersey's firsts: in rocketry, in canal-building, and by Edison's genius, in the light-bulb, the movie, and the recorded sound.
