Pequannock Awards Residents at December Meeting

Emergency Management Coordinator Bobbi Jo Murphy and Deputy Coordinator William McCrystal were give the Mayor's Award (on behalf of the township) for service above and beyond the call of duty during Hurricane Irene. The entire Emergency Management staff and all of our emergency responders provided amazing service during both Irene and the 2011 Halloween Blizzard and we're very lucky as a township to have them.
The council also recognized Eagle Scout Matthew Reda for his work in establishing a pavilion to be used by youths at the Boys and Girls Club in Pequannock. This young man's commitment to public service is an example to all. Matthew will receive his Eagle Scout designation in a Court of Honor later this month.
