Pequannock Parks and Recreation Master Plan

Under the category of documents most residents may not be aware of, the Pequannock Township Town-wide Park and Recreation Master Plan is a lengthy pdf covering in depth the planned upgrade and repairs to recreation facilities in Pequannock in the forseeable future (big download):

Completed in 2007 by Pennoni Associates under the direction of the municipal government and in particular the Parks and Recreation Department and Advisory Board, some items have already been complete (such as the removal of lawn waste storage at Washington Park) and other items we yet look forward to (such as the completion of upgrades to Greenview Park).

This is a great resource for anyone who is interested in what they're getting for their taxdollars.  Moreover, it's also an indispensable snapshot of the township's recreational needs in order to reduce our tax burden through intelligent facilities design and recreational facilities sharing (with the schools for example).

This is the first time the document has been made available on the Township website.  Thanks to Tom Andrea for pointing it out to me!
